Job Purpose

To support the Audit team in conducting audit assignments, preparing working papers, and ensuring that audit procedures are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting audit assignments under the guidance of the Audit Senior or Manager.
  • Prepare and organize audit working papers and supporting documentation.
  • Perform basic audit tests and verification of financial records.
  • Assist in obtaining and analyzing client information and documents.
  • Participate in stock counts, cash counts, and other audit procedures where required.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed timelines.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Audit Senior or Manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely completion of assigned audit tasks.
  • Accuracy and quality of audit working papers.
  • Compliance with audit procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to learn and apply audit and accounting knowledge.
  • Professionalism, teamwork, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Progress towards professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and auditing.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
