JOB DETAILS:

BAR / RESTAURANT STOCK CONTROLLER

Job Summary

Responsible for monitoring, recording, and controlling food, beverage, and other restaurant/bar inventory to minimize losses and ensure adequate stock availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming stock.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock usage, wastage, breakages, and variances.
• Ensure stock is properly stored and handled.
• Monitor expiry dates and product condition.
• Prepare stock reports for management.
• Coordinate with purchasing, kitchen, bar, and restaurant teams.
• Investigate unexplained stock variances.
• Ensure stock movements are properly documented and authorized.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting, Inventory Management, or related field is preferred.
• Relevant stock-control experience.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• High level of accuracy and integrity.
• Knowledge of inventory/POS systems is an advantage.

Level of Education: high school
