Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. The successful candidate will provide professional grooming services, including haircuts, beard trimming, shaving, and styling, while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should be committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional haircuts, beard trims, shaving, and grooming services according to client preferences.
• Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and recommend suitable hairstyles and grooming products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of barbering tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Ensure all barbering equipment is properly maintained and report any faults or repair needs.
• Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Manage appointments efficiently while accommodating walk-in clients where possible.
• Promote and recommend hair care and grooming products to clients.
• Stay updated on current barbering trends, techniques, and grooming styles.
• Maintain accurate records of appointments and client preferences where applicable.
• Support the achievement of the barbershop's customer satisfaction and business goals.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Barbering, Hairdressing, or Beauty Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid certification in barbering or grooming services is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and occupational health and safety practices.

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of professional barbering experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a busy barbershop, salon, or grooming studio is an added advantage.
