Background

Our client, a reputable restaurant in Kilimani, Nairobi, is seeking an experienced Barista to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment.
• Ensure consistent beverage quality and presentation.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Barista in a busy café or restaurant.
• Certificate or Diploma in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Skilled in preparing coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
