A barman's job involves crafting and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe bar area.

Beverage Preparation: Mix cocktails, pour spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders, make drink recommendations, and provide a positive customer experience. Sales and Payments: Process cash and card transactions accurately and operate POS systems. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and ensure the bar is always well-stocked. Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with garnishes, ice, and glassware. Compliance: Adhere to all local liquor laws, safety, and sanitation regulations.
2–3 years’ experience as a barman in a busy bar, lounge, or hotel. Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage service. Skilled in customer service, upselling, and handling guest requests. Familiar with stock control, inventory, cash handling, and POS systems. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Certificate/Diploma in Food & Beverage Service, Mixology, or Hospitality is an added advantage.
