Youth and women form over 70% of Kenya's population, yet remain systematically excluded from political party structures and decision-making spaces. Despite constitutional guarantees, participation is undermined by institutional barriers, weak party structures, cultural norms, limited awareness, and unresponsive platforms.
Scope of the Assignment
The study will focus on:
- Political party structures & inclusion practices
- Barriers and enablers to youth and women participation
- Youth leagues, interparty collaboration & dialogue
- Feasibility of a county-level pilot in Homa Bay
