Role Context
As a Beautician onboard one of our luxurious ships, you will be an integral part of our wellness and beauty team, dedicated to enhancing the guest experience through a range of high-quality hair and nail services. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds and contributing to the overall ambiance of relaxation and pampering.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments.
- Provide professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Consult with guests to understand their needs and preferences, offering expert advice and recommendations.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the salon area and with all equipment.
- Promote and sell salon products and services to guests.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a Beautician, Hair Stylist, or Nail Technician.
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in hairdressing and/or nail technology.
- Proficiency in a wide range of hair and nail techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Experience Needed
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a salon or spa environment. Experience working on a cruise ship is an advantage.
