Our client, a school based in Kiserian, Kajiado County is looking to fill the above position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with the Kenyan CBC curriculum.
• Conduct practical experiments and laboratory sessions in accordance with CBC competency standards.
• Assess and monitor student learning using CBC assessment methods, focusing on skills, values, knowledge.
• Collaborate with other science teachers to enhance learning outcomes.
• Participate in co-curricular science activities, including clubs, field trips, and competitions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety standards are observed.
• Mentor students to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Contribute to departmental curriculum planning and review

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Science Education.
• TSC registration is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience in a CBC-compliant high school.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and learner-centered teaching skills.
