About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Biomedical Engineer with a practical background in plumbing, healthcare piping systems, and equipment installation & maintenance. This role supports the planning, installation, repair, and maintenance of biomedical and mechanical systems across hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. You’ll work alongside architects, contractors, and medical planners to ensure the functionality, safety, and compliance of healthcare systems—especially those related to water, oxygen, suction, and medical equipment lines. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment and associated plumbing systems (e.g., oxygen pipelines, suction lines, drainage, and water supply in critical care areas).
- Collaborate with construction and design teams to plan infrastructure for new healthcare facilities.
- Inspect and test systems for leaks, pressure, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Do plumbing works for healthcare facilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues with medical equipment installations and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant medical and plumbing codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide input into equipment procurement, compatibility, and spatial requirements.

- Plumbing and Equipment Maintenance
- Strong understanding of plumbing, piping layouts, and hospital utility systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with tools and safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in plumbing systems in healthcare settings or medical equipment maintenance.
