Responsibilities or duties

As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, managing a team of loan officers, and ensuring the achievement of branch targets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and motivating the branch team to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Managing the loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase market share and customer acquisition.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints effectively.
  • Monitoring branch performance and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of agri-finance and microfinance products.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience needed

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the financial services sector, preferably in microfinance or agri-finance.
