Granary Capital Ltd — a CBK-certified Microfinance Institution — is expanding into new regions in 2026, with upcoming branch openings across the Mount Kenya, Western Kenya regions & Kitengela.

As part of this strategic expansion, we are re-advertising Branch Manager positions to identify high-calibre, results-driven leaders to take full charge of these new branches.

This is a rare opportunity to build, lead, and grow a branch from the ground up in entirely new markets. We are looking for exceptional energy, sharp execution skills, and proven microfinance leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or senior supervisory role in the microfinance sector.
• Strong understanding of short-term lending models, including daily and weekly repayment structures.
• Solid experience in credit appraisal, KYC compliance, collections management, and portfolio quality control.
• Demonstrated ability to build loan books, grow active clients, and consistently deliver on targets.
• Strong people leadership skills — ability to recruit, coach, supervise, and hold teams accountable.
• High standards of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to launch and stabilize a new branch, set structures, and drive early traction.
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. A degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Mount Kenya or Western Kenya markets is a strong advantage.
