The Budget Manager is responsible for leading the hospital’s budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and budget monitoring functions. The role ensures effective allocation and utilization of financial resources, supports strategic decision-making, promotes financial sustainability, and strengthens financial performance through accurate budgeting, expenditure control, and financial analysis.

  • Coordinate preparation and consolidation of annual departmental and organizational budgets.
  • Develop budget guidelines, templates, and budgeting timelines.
  • Support departmental managers during budget preparation and resource planning.
  • Prepare long-term financial plans and projections.
  • Ensure effective allocation and utilization of financial resources.
  • Monitor budget performance across departments.
  • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenditures.
  • Prepare periodic budget monitoring reports.
  • Recommend corrective actions for budget variances.
  • Ensure compliance with approved budgets and financial policies.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
