PAYMENT PRODUCTS & SERVICES DIVISION
The Payment Products & Services Division drives the Company's payments business, delivering secure, reliable, and innovative payment solutions for businesses across Africa and beyond.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Pipeline Support
Support the business development team in identifying, qualifying, and tracking new business opportunities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales pipelines in the CRM system.
Proposal & Tender Support
Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and tender responses by coordinating inputs from internal teams, compiling documentation, and ensuring compliance with submission requirements
Client Engagement & Relationship Support
Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations, supporting senior team members in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
Conduct basic market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the payments and fintech landscape, and share insights with the team.
Product Knowledge & Presentations
Develop a strong understanding of the Company's payment products and solutions and support the delivery of solution presentations to prospective clients.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Prepare regular sales and activity reports, update performance management dashboards, and ensure timely reporting of leads, opportunities, and customer interaction.
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, FinTech, or Payments are an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
1-3 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Client Relations.
Exposure to payments, fintech, banking, or technology sales is highly desirable.
Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, Excel, etc.).
PAYMENTS AND INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
Basic to working knowledge of:
Digital payment solutions (Mobile Money, APIs, collections, disbursements)
PSP or fintech operating environments
Product features and pricing models
Regulatory and compliance basics in payments
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Good proposal writing and documentation skills.
Comfortable working with targets and performance tracking dashboards.
