Background

AAR Healthcare is currently one of the largest providers of outpatient healthcare services in East Africa, with a network of 21 clinics across the country and serving over 300,000 clients annually from across the social divide. At AAR Healthcare, we employ experienced medical and management staff, and use internationally approved disease management protocols and drug formulary supported by the state of the art information technology systems to provide consistent treatment for our clients from anywhere in East Africa.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the role is responsible for driving business growth by implementing effective business development strategies at the outpatient centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement business development plans and schedules.
  • Represent the organization at corporate and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships in line with company guidelines.
  • Prepare periodic reports on business performance and market trends.
  • Follow up and resolve client service queries in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Marketing option) or a related business field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing.
  • Membership to the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) or a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
  • Strong ICT proficiency.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven, innovative, and self-motivated.
