The role holder will be responsible for driving the implementation of the bancassurance sales strategy, grow revenue, and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention through effective relationship management, cross-selling, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities or duties
- Identify and exploit cross-selling opportunities to increase Bancassurance revenue.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure renewals and referrals.
- Onboard non-bank clients and ensure financed clients’ assets are insured.
- Collaborate with branches and credit teams to expand insurance product distribution.
- Maintain at least 85% policy renewal retention and grow a clean IPF book.
- Track, analyze, and improve sales performance, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
- Ensure timely and accurate policy issuance, endorsements, and premium collection.
- Support reconciliation of premiums, IPF repayments, and commissions.
- Provide training and product awareness to branches to drive business growth.
- Monitor daily production, manage debtors, and execute other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Insurance, Economics or other business related disciplines.
- Progress towards Diploma in Insurance (ACII or AIIK) (at least 3 papers or equivalent).
Experience needed
- At least three (3) years’ experience in the insurance industry, with demonstrated success in insurance sales and business development.
