Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, related field
  • 2-3 years' experience in technical, industrial, or B2B sales
  • Direct access to decision-makers within industrial sectors is highly preferred
  • Experience selling compressors, HVAC/R, pumps, or engineering equipment is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills
  • Ability to explain technical products to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
  • Self-driven, ethical, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Willingness to travel across Kenya

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline across cold chain, food processing, beverage, pharma, agro-export, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors
  • Generate leads, conduct field visits, deliver technical presentations, and convert prospects into long-term clients
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts aligned to customer requirements
  • Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets, including revenue growth within existing accounts
  • Ensure timely payment collection after installations and project completion
  • Build strong relationships with industrial clients, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and submit periodic sales performance reports
  • Coordinate with technical/service teams to ensure smooth project execution + customer satisfaction

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Competitive (Based on Qualifications/Experience)

Commission: 1%-3% based on product/project margins

Performance bonuses for target achievement and new accounts

Transport and mobile/data allowance

Medical cover (NHIF/SHA) and statutory benefits
