Job Summary The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth through strategic business initiatives and partnerships. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding HDL’s presence in the healthcare construction market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, strong networking abilities, and a results-driven approach to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and business opportunities in healthcare construction.
  • Analyze industry data and competitor activities to uncover insights that inform business strategies and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand HDL’s market reach and enhance service offerings.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop proposals that are both technically sound and commercially competitive.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to promote HDL’s projects, case studies, and achievements in healthcare construction.
  • Regularly update senior management on business development activities, industry trends, and competitor insights.
  • Business Development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities being advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and presentation tools.
