Job Overview

- Role: Business Intelligence Analyst
- Location: Nairobi, Kenya
- Salary: KES 150,000
Key Responsibilities
- Own Kenya daily, weekly, and monthly business performance reporting.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards covering sales, orders, delivery, product mix, customer behavior, inventory, and operational KPIs.
- Validate POS, aggregator, finance, and operational datasets to ensure reports are accurate and reconciled.
- Support same-store sales growth, campaign/LSM performance tracking, and store profiling analysis.
- Provide timely insights to Country Management, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and BI leadership.
- Work with the central BI team on data warehouse migration, data models, SOPs, and reporting standards.
- Document report logic, definitions, data issues, and resolution actions.
Skills Required
- Strong SQL coding skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Power BI dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Good Excel skills for analysis, reconciliation, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Understanding of sales, operations, delivery, inventory, and customer KPIs.
- Ability to validate data quality, investigate variances, and document findings.
- Good stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
- Basic Python knowledge is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or any related discipline.
- Relevant BI, Power BI, SQL, Data Analytics, or Cloud certification is an added advantage.
- 5 years’ experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, MIS, or commercial/operations analytics.
- Experience preferably in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), retail, FMCG, or a multi-store business environment.
