Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Camp Nurse to join our team. The Camp Nurse will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to guests and staff at our remote camp locations. This role requires a dedicated individual with excellent medical skills and the ability to work independently in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate medical attention and first aid to guests and staff in case of illness or injury.
  • Assess patient conditions, administer appropriate treatments, and monitor their progress.
  • Manage and maintain the camp clinic, including medical supplies and equipment.
  • Educate guests and staff on health and safety precautions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Liaise with local healthcare facilities for referrals and emergency evacuations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a remote setting or emergency care.
  • Proficiency in first aid, CPR, and basic life support.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willingness to work in remote camp locations.

Additional Information
