Job Purpose:
The Career Services Officer will be responsible for strengthening industry linkages, coordinating student placement and employability programs, and supporting graduates to transition successfully into employment, entrepreneurship, and further career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with industries, employers, and professional bodies.
- Coordinate internships, industrial attachments, apprenticeships, and job placements.
- Organize career guidance sessions, mentorship programs, and career fairs.
- Support trainees in CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness.
- Maintain graduate and employer databases and conduct tracer studies.
- Prepare periodic reports on employability and placement outcomes.
- Strengthen alumni engagement and institutional visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in career services, youth empowerment, TVET, or industry liaison.
- Strong networking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
