CARPENTER - FURNITURE PRODUCTION

LOCATION - LIMURU, KIAMBU.

Our client, a growing furniture brand is looking for skilled and reliable Carpenters to join their production team and bring their modern designs to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret furniture designs, sketches, or photos and produce high-quality finished pieces.
  • Construct, assemble, and finish wooden furniture such as sofas, tables, TV stands, wardrobes, and shelves.
  • Measure, cut, and join wood, board, and other materials accurately.
  • Sand, varnish, paint, or polish furniture to the desired finish.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
  • Ensure timely completion of production orders.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing team to develop new prototypes and improve designs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in carpentry or furniture making (at least 2 years).
  • Ability to read and interpret designs or drawings.
  • Skilled in using carpentry tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Reliable, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in making modern or customized furniture will be an added advantage.
