Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, highly accurate, and professional Cashier to oversee our point-of-sale (POS) operations. You will manage incoming financial transactions, handle billing processes with complete integrity, balance daily sales accounts, and provide guests with an efficient, pleasant checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle guest billing transactions accurately, processing cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
• Verify daily float amounts and meticulously balance the cash register at the beginning and close of every shift.
• Issue correct change, print detailed receipts, and assist servers with itemized group billing.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and organized cashier counter area.
• Handle initial customer billing inquiries or simple transaction discrepancies calmly and professionally.
• Generate basic daily sales reports and log books for financial audit submission.

Requirements & Competencies

• Technical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, basic computer literacy, and hands-on experience handling restaurant POS software.
• Attributes: Absolute financial integrity, high level of responsibility, sharp focus, and a professional demeanor.
• Skills: Excellent communication and basic customer care skills.
• Experience: Prior working experience as a cashier or in a retail/hospitality financial role is preferred.
