Job Summary:
We are hiring a Catering Chef to prepare food for large-scale events, weddings, and corporate functions off-site or in banquet halls. You will focus on bulk preparation while maintaining the quality and presentation of fine dining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prep meals for events based on client contracts.
• Coordinate with the sales team on menu feasibility.
• Oversee the cooking process for large quantities of food.
• Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food to event venues.
• Manage catering kitchen staff and assign duties.
• Maintain food safety and temperature logs for transportation.
• Manage food cost control and inventory specifically for events.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Culinary training and catering experience.
• Experience cooking in high-volume environments.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure and adapt to changes.
• Valid driver’s license (often required for transport).

• Assist chefs with chopping, peeling, and basic food prep.
• Pack and load catering supplies and equipment for transport.
• Set up buffet lines, chafing dishes, and serving stations at event sites.
• Replenish food and beverage supplies during the event.
• Clear tables and wash dishes/utensils post-event.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 25kg).
