Our Client. The institution of Surveyors of Kenya is the professional organization in Kenya that brings together the "landed" professionals: namely the Valuer. Land Surveyors Geometric Engineers Registered Estate Agents Property Managers Building Surveyors Land Administration Managers and Facilities Managers.
The institution is looking for highly competent and innovative leaders to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary
The Chief Executive Officer will be the head of the secretariat and therefore responsible for and manage all the staff at the secretariat. He/She will be the Secretary to the Council and other Council Committees. He/she should work very closely with Institution's Council through the Chairman of the Institution to implement the Institutions strategic plan and other policy decisions and guidelines
Person Profile.
• A Master's Degree in Business administration or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university;
• A Bachelor degree in a business-related area or its equivalent from a recognized university. A degree in Real Estate or Surveying would be an added advantage:
• Five years‘experience in a senior management position.
• Be B member and in good standing of a relevant professional body.
• Key competencies
• Commitment to results customer focused and goal driven;
• Effective decision making and excellent communication skills;
• Strategic thinker with business acumen demonstrated high leadership and management leadership skills:
• Resource mobilization skills; and
• Have the ability to manage continuity change and transition
Candidates will be required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 including:
• Certificate of good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal investigations (CID);
• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya revenue Authority (Kim):
• Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB):
• Clearance for the Ethics and Anti—Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
