The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, including financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the logistics or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute financial strategies.
- Experience in risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
