AIC Kitui Township Local Church, located at the heart of Kitui Town under Kitui Township DCC, is seeking to recruit a qualified individual to serve as a Church Driver, thereby enhancing ministry efficiency and service delivery.

Driving the church bus for official and ministry duties as assigned. Maintaining vehicle work tickets and ensuring routine checks (oil, brakes, tyres, etc.). Performing minor mechanical repairs and reporting any faults or malfunctions promptly. Ensuring the safety and security of passengers, goods, and the vehicle both on and off the road. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness. Observing traffic laws and promoting safe driving practices. Ensuring full compliance with all PSV safety regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Applicants with any of the following will have an added advantage. These include a Defensive Driving Certificate (AA Kenya or equivalent), an Occupational Trade Test Grade II for drivers, Basic First Aid & Firefighting certificates, a Suitability Test Certificate from the Department of Public Works, and Training in Public Relations and Protocol.
Be a born-again, mature Christian with a good testimony and excellent interpersonal relations. Hold a KCSE Certificate with a minimum grade of D (plain) or its equivalent. Valid Driving License Class D3 and PSV license for bus/minibus operation. Hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the National Police Service. Be between 35 – 55 years of age. Accident-free or non-negligent driving record. Have at least two (2) years of experience driving vehicles in category D3 or equivalent. Demonstrate reliability, responsibility, and good performance in previous roles.
