The Opportunity

As the Business Development Manager, you will be the face of our hospital to the medical community and corporate sector. You will lead strategic initiatives to increase patient volume, manage high-value physician relationships, and identify untapped market opportunities.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Growth.

Develop and execute a data-driven business development plan targeting key specialty: Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Renal Care, and Women’s Health.

Identify and penetrate untapped market segments, including corporate clients, insurance partners, and regional referral networks.

Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual targets for new patient volume, referral growth, and partnership revenue.

Cultivate Physician & Referral Networks.

Serve as the primary liaison between M.P. Shah Hospital and community physicians, specialists, and referring clinics.

Build and maintain a referral physician database, tracking engagement, satisfaction, and referral patterns.

Organize Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, hospital tours, and networking events to deepen relationships with the medical community.

Proactively address “referral leakage” by understanding competitor dynamics and strengthening our value proposition to referrers.

Forge Corporate & Insurance Partnerships.

Identify, negotiate, and implement corporate wellness programs and tailored healthcare packages for local businesses, multinationals, and SMEs.

Build strategic relationships with insurance providers, TPAs, and brokers to ensure M.P. Shah is the preferred provider in their networks.

Collaborate with marketing to co-create partnership campaigns that highlight our unique differentiators—including Green365 sustainability and JCI-accredited quality.

Analyse, Measure, & Optimize.

Use CRM tools (MS Dynamics 365) and market data to track referral patterns, monitor ROI on outreach activities, and identify growth opportunities.

Prepare monthly dashboards and reports for leadership, showing progress against KPIs including:

  • New patient acquisition by source.
  • Referral volume by physician/partner.
  • Partnership revenue and ROI.
  • Market share trends in target specialties.

Continuously refine strategies based on data insights, eliminating waste and maximizing impact.

Amplify Community Impact.

Lead and coordinate health camps, medical screenings, and community outreach programs that bring our clinical expertise directly to the public.

Partner with the marketing team to capture stories and data from these events, feeding into our brand narrative of “Expertise Honed in Service.”

Represent M.P. Shah Hospital at industry forums, business networking events, and community gatherings as a brand ambassador.

Embed Sustainability in Every Partnership.

Position Green365 and our JCI sustainability certification as a key value proposition in all partnership conversations.

Educate corporate clients on how partnering with an environmentally responsible healthcare provider enhances their own ESG reporting and brand image.

Identify opportunities for co-branded sustainability initiatives (e.g., tree planting with corporate partners, green health challenges).
