KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administer safe anaesthesia for surgical, obstetric, and emergency procedures under approved clinical guidelines.

Conduct pre-operative assessment of patients and formulate appropriate anaesthetic plans. Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthesia, ensuring prompt management of any complications. .

Participate in post-operative patient care and pain management.

Perform airway management and resuscitation during emergencies

Participate in the hospital's on-call and emergency duty roster as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Diploma or Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine with specialized training in Anaesthesia from a recognized institution.

Experience in administering anaesthesia for general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, ENT, and emergency procedures will be an added advantage.
