Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Officer to join our medical team. The Clinical Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and medical history taking.
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and practice license from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Officer.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
