Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Services Manager to oversee and lead our healthcare services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community health, possess strong leadership and management skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare to underserved populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management for all clinical services offered by SHOFCO.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services in line with national standards and best practices.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance service delivery and patient safety.
  • Manage and supervise clinical staff, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Oversee the efficient management of clinic resources, including budgets, supplies, and equipment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments within SHOFCO to ensure integrated service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new healthcare initiatives and programs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Valid registration and license with the relevant professional body in Kenya.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical practice, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in managing healthcare facilities or programs, preferably in a non-profit or community-based setting.
  • Strong understanding of primary healthcare principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and manage multiple priorities.
