JOB DETAILS:

Perform relevant procedures required to assess and stabilize patients; including but not limited to:- Cardiac ultrasound, focused abdominal sonography in trauma (FAST), assessment of IVC volume by ultrasound, arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, central line insertion and care, rapid sequence induction and intubation of adults and children, conscious sedation, regional analgesia, ventilator set up and continuous management, stabilization of open and closed fractures, needle decompression and chest tube insertion and evacuations

Requirement for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B; Ch.B.) degree from an institution  or Emergency Medicine and Critical Care recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board;
• Masters degree in Internal Medicine, Emergency and Family Medicine or equivalent  postgraduate qualification from a  recognized institution
• Registered by the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Council 
• Member of relevant professional association
• Valid Practising License 
• Demonstrable skills and experience in various clinical areas with atleast three (3) years experience.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
