Paykit is looking for a Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth, close enterprise partnerships, and lead our commercial team in scaling across the fintech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value partnerships (fintechs, banks, enterprise merchants)
  • Lead commercial negotiations and structure partnership agreements
  • Own the full deal lifecycle from opportunity to contract execution
  • Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline aligned with growth targets
  • Develop strategic partnerships across the payments and digital commerce ecosystem
  • Lead and manage Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Officers (BDOs)
  • Set targets, support deal execution, and oversee pipeline performance
  • Grow and expand revenue from existing partners and merchants
  • Act as the commercial escalation point for key clients
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, revenue, and commercial performance

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years experience in fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and driving revenue growth
  • Strong experience in negotiation and deal structuring
  • Experience working with payment infrastructure (mobile money, gateways, APIs)
  • Experience managing business development or sales teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of payment flows (processing, settlement, reconciliation)
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, and PCI DSS frameworks
  • Experience with API-driven fintech platforms is an added advantage
