About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our team at the MGallery Hotel Collection. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring chef to gain valuable experience in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation for our restaurants, functions and hotel operations
• Preparing ingredients and basic dishes to the required standard
• Supporting the Chef team during busy service periods
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures
• Assisting with stock preparation and kitchen organisation
• Working as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

Qualifications:

• Culinary qualification or training preferred.
• 1–2 years' experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Good teamwork, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure.
