Responsibilities or duties

Content Development

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated, multi-channel content strategies.
  • Draft, edit, and refine high-quality written materials including blog posts, reports, newsletters, press releases, internal communications, press kits, and success stories.
  • Collaborate closely with program teams to translate field activities and technical information into compelling visual and written stories.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment with organizational brand guidelines across all communication outputs.

Visual Content Creation

  • Design engaging graphics for digital and print materials, including social media, reports, presentations, brochures, and campaign assets.
  • Develop infographics and visual storytelling materials that simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Maintain adherence to brand standards in all visual content produced.

Photography and Videography

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during field activities, corporate engagements, and events.
  • Plan, film, and edit both short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, donor communications, and campaigns.
  • Produce human-centered stories, testimonials, and impact videos.
  • Maintain and organize a digital asset library for photos and videos.

Digital and Social Media Support

  • Develop platform-specific visual content for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Support execution of digital campaigns through multimedia storytelling.
  • Monitor audience engagement and recommend improvements to enhance content performance.

Events and Corporate Communications

  • Provide photography and videography support during events, launches, workshops, and conferences.
  • Support live content capture and post-event content packaging and dissemination.

Operations and Project Implementation

  • Provide operational support across business functions as required.
  • Support project implementation activities including field visits, trainings, and administrative coordination.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a communications, multimedia, or related role.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design, photography, and video production with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite).
  • Experience in preparing professional PowerPoint presentations and donor-facing materials.
  • Experience in agricultural development, risk management, or climate resilience is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
