ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Community & Engagement Coordinator to support and grow our guiding community. This role focuses on managing our online communities, driving engagement with our app, and acting as a key link between guides, marketing, operations, and engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community Management
- Manage and moderate our Facebook and WhatsApp groups
- Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging community environment
- Respond to questions, provide support, and ensure timely communication with guides
- Encourage active participation and meaningful discussions
App Engagement & Growth
- Drive guide sign-ups and onboarding onto our app
- Encourage consistent engagement and usage of the platform
- Identify inactive members and re-engage them
- Gather feedback from guides to improve user experience
Cross-Functional Support
- Support the Marketing team with community campaigns, announcements, and promotions
- Support the Operations team with guide communications and updates
- Act as a liaison between guides and internal teams
Issue Reporting & Feedback
- Identify and document app issues reported by guides
- Clearly communicate bugs and usability concerns to the engineering team
- Track recurring issues and follow up on resolutions
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience managing online communities (Facebook Groups, WhatsApp, or similar platforms)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Proactive, self-starter mindset
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely
- Experience with community growth or user engagement strategies is a plus
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- 6-month contract
- Fully remote
- Flexible hours (with some overlap required for team collaboration)
- Opportunity to extend the contract based on performance and company needs
