Participate in the preparation of overall work plan and budget as well as develop activity plans and budgets for technical support of Resilience Protection and Climate Change Project activities Support in the mobilization of project participants to effectively participate in the implementation of project activities. Participate in developing different levels of progress report (weekly updates, situational reports, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports) Supporting Project Quality Assurance (PQA) through organizing and supporting monitoring visits on L&R interventions. Collaborate with relevant ministries and other relevant partners at the County and community levels to ensure integration and high-level implementation of the planned Project activities. Work closely with relevant authorities to ensure all economic recovery and market systems interventions deployed in the communities are in alignment with L&R in emergency Standards Work together with other staff/ to ensure that key trainings meet the standard required to facilitate, provide knowledge and reinforcement of desired L&R behaviour and practices.
Cross-cultural sensitivity and emotional maturity Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts Understanding and demonstrated commitment to the importance of gender and other key issues in Economic empowerment Able to ride a motorbike with a valid license
The jobholder must have a minimum of a Diploma certificate in agriculture/Agricultural economics/ Developmental Studies or equivalent from a recognized institution. Minimum of two years’ experience working with communities in either relief or development Livelihood and Resilience/Food security projects Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written) with a good uunderstanding the local dialect and context Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and another main email system such as Microsoft Outlook) A team player, capable of building the community capacity in economic recovery aspects Ability to take initiative, a team leader able to work with minimum supervision
