JOB DETAILS:
Background
We are seeking a dedicated and community-minded Oral Health Officer to lead our preventive and promotive dental care initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental screenings
- Diagnose common oral pathologies
- Provide essential treatments like dental cleanings
- Scaling and uncomplicated extractions.
- You will also champion oral hygiene education programs within the clinic and local community setups to reduce the prevalence of dental diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, chart dental findings, and formulate appropriate patient care plans.
- Perform clinical procedures including scaling, polishing, simple restorations, and minor extractions.
- Develop and deliver interactive educational content regarding oral hygiene, diet, and disease prevention to individuals and groups.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
