We are seeking an experienced Company Secretarial Training and Consultancy Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs and provide expert consultancy on secretarial practices, governance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in secretarial work, corporate governance, and adult learning methodologies, with the ability to translate complex regulations into practical guidance for diverse clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver interactive training sessions and workshops on company secretarial duties, corporate governance, statutory compliance, and board management.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, manuals, and guides tailored to various organizational needs and regulatory environments.
- Provide consultancy services on company secretarial best practices, compliance frameworks, and governance structures.
- Advise clients on statutory filings, board meeting procedures, minute-taking, and maintenance of statutory registers.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, regulatory changes, and industry trends, ensuring all training content and consultancy advice reflects current best practices.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, fostering engagement and knowledge transfer.
- Assess training effectiveness and update content based on participant feedback and emerging requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to customize training and consulting solutions.
- Support organizations in implementing robust compliance and governance systems.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as ICSA/CS(K) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in company secretarial practice, corporate governance, or related consultancy/training roles.
- In-depth knowledge of company law, regulatory compliance, and best practices in corporate governance.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering professional training programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical, advisory, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to tailor content and advice to diverse audiences, including boards, executives, and administrative staff.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
