As ACE Kenya expands its operations, the Consumer Finance Officer will play a critical role in supporting credit risk management, loan recovery, customer engagement, and field operations across our locations in Kilifi.
At African Clean Energy, you will:
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customers’ financial information and assess credit risk.
- Support field agents to ensure high-quality sales through strong KYC practices.
- Maximize repayments by engaging customers in arrears and guiding them back to regular payments.
- Support loan restructuring and repossession processes in line with ACE procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates of customer payments in our system.
- Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys to improve ACE’s servic
We’d really like to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in (Development) Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in Financial institutions or a similar role, preferably in renewable energy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to achieve targets and deliver results consistently.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Results-driven with the ability to focus on achieving set objectives and goals.
- Must be a native of the location applied for.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Swahili or other local languages is a plus.
