Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced bar/restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food, consistency in taste and presentation, and timely service during regular operations and peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food as per standard recipes.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory control, and minimize food wastage.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a bar, club, or restaurant.
• Understanding of food safety and kitchen equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with good time-management skills.
