We are seeking reliable, experienced, and service-oriented Cooks to support the preparation and delivery of quality meals for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and nutrition standards.
• Ensure food is prepared, handled, and stored in compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, equipment, and food storage areas.
• Assist in menu planning in collaboration with the Head Chef or Supervisor.
• Monitor food portions to minimize waste and ensure cost efficiency.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store food supplies.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support special dietary requirements where necessary.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Food Production, Catering, or Hospitality.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a cook in a school, institution, or similar setting.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, nutrition, and safety standards.
• Valid food handling or medical certificate.
