JOB DETAILS:
The KBA School is a Christian institution committed to providing quality education underpinned on Sound Christina Values and academic excellence. The School is seeking to recruit competent and experienced Cooks to prepare and serve quality, nutritious, and delicious meals in accordance with the School Menu and established food safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
1. Age and Education: Must be 25 years and above and hold an 'O' certificate (minimum D+) and a ccertificate in food production or a related field from a duly certified institute.
2. Experience and Technical Skills: At least two (2) years' proven experience as a Cook, with sound knowledge of cooking procedures, techniques, and methods. Experience in a school setting is an added advantage.
3. Food Safety and Hygiene: Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in food preparation and handling, and must possess a valid medical certificate.
4. Personality traits & character: A warm personality with a positive attitude and mindset and demonstrable time-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet strict meal preparation schedules.
5. Christian Values and Integrity: Must be a born-again Christian, supported by a recommendation letter from the applicant's local Pastor/Church Minister, and demonstrate integrity, a positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.
6. Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team. Applicants must provide at least two (2) referees who can attest to their character, conduct, and work experience.
