A Cost Controller requires skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, while responsibilities include monitoring expenditures, developing cost-saving strategies, and creating financial reports. 

Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor and analyze project expenditures, variances, and trends to ensure alignment with the budget. Budgeting: Develop, prepare, and manage budgets and forecasts for projects. Reporting: Create and present comprehensive financial analysis and status reports to stakeholders. Cost Control: Implement and refine cost control strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings. Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams, senior management, and other departments to control expenses and achieve financial goals. Contracts: Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs.

Financial & Analytical: Strong analytical skills, financial analysis, cost estimation, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Technical: Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel, and an understanding of cost management software and principles. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and presentation abilities. Organizational: Attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
