JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities:
The main role is to ensure incoming customer’s items are properly received, documented, properly charged and dispatched for delivery while ensuring high standards of customer service and adherence to ISO 9001:2008 standards and procedures.

The following are the key accountabilities:
• Receive and deliver customers’ items across the city or town of deployment
• Raising cash and contracted customer’s waybills and ensuring proper documentation
• Ensuring proper weights and charges of each customer item received
• Counter checking delivery sheets to ensure all details are properly filled
• Accounting for waybills, cash collections and ensuring proper handing over and reconciliation of cash collections
• Ensuring accurate documentation of all receipts and deliveries of customers’ items within set procedures
• Sorting of customers’ items to ensure items received have been accurately routed
• Loading of customers items into the various route vehicles among other duties

Ideal Candidate:
• Have attained the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a minimum of grade of C Diploma will be an added advantage
• Aged between 25 years and 35 years
• Be the holder of a Kenyan National ID Card (Original)
• Be able to demonstrate that he/she has no past criminal record and whose integrity is beyond reproach.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili both oral and written
• IT literate with acceptable working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• This is a customer facing position that requires individuals who are neat and presentable, and have excellent communication skills.
• Additional Certification training in any relevant business or customer facing field e.g. front office, Customer care, Administration, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations etc. from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
