Responsibilities

• Assume full Matron-level authority over the hospital during off-hours
• Lead and supervise nursing staff across all wards and departments
• Oversee patient safety, ward rounds, and clinical decision-making
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and escalation protocols
• Liaise with on-call doctors, department heads, and senior management
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and handover documentation

Qualifications and Experience

• 8+ years total clinical nursing experience
• 3+ years in a senior covering / acting matron or equivalent role
• Valid Nursing Council license required

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 96

Level of Education: bachelor degree
