Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Customer Development Lead to manage supermarkets and minimarts under distributors and regional second lines, deliver JBP objectives and quarterly targets, and drive visibility, shelf share, availability, and promotions. The role also involves negotiating listings and displays, managing merchandising teams and service providers, and tracking market and competitor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supermarkets and minimarts under distributors and regional second lines.
  • Deliver agreed JBP objectives and quarterly targets.
  • Drive visibility, share of shelf, product availability and promotional execution.
  • Negotiate additional display opportunities and new product listings.
  • Manage merchandising teams and third-party service providers.
  • Monitor market performance and competitor activities.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements (Candidates must meet ALL criteria below):

  • 7–10 years of total FMCG experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the Beverage category.
  • Strong Modern Trade experience managing supermarkets and key accounts.
  • Proven experience managing Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
  • Hands-on experience with planogram implementation and shelf-space negotiations.
  • Experience executing consumer promotions, product launches and visibility initiatives.
  • Experience managing merchandisers and third-party vendors.
  • Strong distributor and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to independently drive new listings and account development.
  • Manage supermarkets and minimarts under distributors and regional second lines.
