JOB DETAILS:  
Customer Relations Officer 
Designation : Customer Relations officer 
Department : Commercial 
Reports to : Commercial Manager 
Responsible for: Customer Relations 
 
Overall Responsibility: 
Effective receiving and handling of customers 
OBJECTIVES: 
• Customer satisfaction 
• Promotion of corporate image 
• Achievement of set performance targets 
 
Duties And Responsibilities 
a. Timely response to customer enquiries and complaints as per the service charter 
b. Escalate the reported complaints to the relevant users for action 
c. Follow up and feedback on resolution of the escalated customer complaints 
d. Maintaining accurate records and reports on customer complaints and enquiries 
e. Undertake effective communication between customers, staff and other stakeholders 
f. Promoting good customer relations 
g. Participating in rapid result activities 
h. Organize and attend marketing activities 
ix. Coordinating customer Barazas and clinics 
j. Sensitizing public on the services being provided by the company 
k. Participating in revenue collection 
l. Report any upcoming buildings, irrigation and high consumers for investigation and action 
m. Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time. 
n. Provide team leadership, mentoring, coaching and manage performance of staff within the department to enhance service delivery. 
 
Education And Specifications: 
• Diploma in Public Relations /Customer Relations Management 
o A degree will be an added advantage 
o 3 Years working experience in customer care in a busy environment 
o Good communication skills 
o Proficient in all Microsoft applications. 
o Maintain a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction. 
TERMS OF SERVICE: 3 Years renewable Contract subject to satisfactory performance evidenced by continuous achievement of performance targets.            
 
 Work Hours: 8  
 Experience in Months:    36  
 Level of Education:     Associate Degree
