Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our growing team. As a CSM, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring they maximize the value of our platform and services. You will build strong relationships, understand their business needs, and proactively guide them towards success. This is a remote position, and we are looking for candidates based in Kenya.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients.
  • Understand client business objectives and proactively identify opportunities to help them achieve their goals using Remote.com's solutions.
  • Onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation of our services.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and best practices related to global hiring and employee management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Support, Product) to ensure client needs are met and to advocate for client feedback.
  • Monitor client health and proactively address any potential risks or issues.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your client base.
  • Contribute to the development of customer success best practices and resources.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Proven experience in a Customer Success, Account Management, or similar client-facing role, preferably in the SaaS or HR tech industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client management.
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Experience working with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with global employment laws and payroll is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be based in Kenya.
