Responsibilities

• Safely transport students, staff, and authorized personnel as assigned.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition at all times.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks including fuel, oil, brakes, tires, and safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate trip records, fuel logs, and vehicle usage reports.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, school transport policies, and safety standards.
• Report accidents, incidents, and mechanical issues promptly through the approved reporting channels.
• Ensure safety and discipline of students while on board.
• Support basic vehicle care and coordinate servicing and repairs with the Transport Officer.
• Ensure all required vehicle documents (insurance, inspection, logbooks) are valid and up to date.

Requirements

• Valid driving license with appropriate classes.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ driving experience, preferably in a school or institutional setting.
• Clean driving record with no history of reckless driving or major traffic violations.
• Institutional Badge is added advantage.
• KCSE Certificate.
