About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Innovation, the Data and Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the CIC Group’s data strategy and ensuring high-quality data collection, management, and analysis. They oversee a team of data professionals, ensuring data quality and accessibility, and developing analytical solutions that directly inform strategic decision-making and drive CIC Group’s organizational value. Their core objective is to leverage data as a strategic asset to enable data-driven growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the organization’s data and analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Establish data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Translate business problems into data-driven insights and analytics solutions.
  • Promote self-service analytics capabilities for business teams.
  • Oversee the design and management of data platforms, databases, and data warehouses/lakes.
  • Ensure proper data integration from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Ensure scalability and performance of data infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
  • Implement controls to protect sensitive and confidential data.
  • Manage risks related to data usage, privacy, and analytics outputs.
  • Partner with business units to identify analytics needs and priorities.
  • Translate technical findings into clear insights for executives and business leaders.
  • Lead and mentor data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers.
  • Define team priorities, performance targets, and delivery standards.
  • Build analytics capability and best practices within the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships where applicable.
  • Collaborate with business teams to operationalize analytics outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering.
  • Team leadership experience.
